Hello, I am Raechel Callejo. Thank you for visiting the page.

A little about myself:

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #119641, through California Board of Behavioral Sciences. My ideal client is someone who wants to improve their mental and emotional health, their relationships, and their life. Some people are forced into therapy by a loved one, their boss or the courts. My goal is to give my client’s individualized, focused treatment to specifically target the areas you are struggling with. Give me a call to schedule an appointment. I accept Aetna, Oxford, Oscar, Magellan, Anthem, Blue plans, Partnership/Carelon, Crime Victims Assistance, United HealthCare (Optum), Cigna/Evernorth, Beacon (Carelon) Commercial and EAP, ACI EAP, and private pay Cash, Card, Check, FSA/HSA CarCredit and others..  Are you feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges or unsure how to take the next step toward change? You don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s getting in the way of your peace and well-being.

I believe therapy works best as a true partnership—where you feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way. Each person I work with brings a unique story, a rich tapestry woven by experiences, strengths, and emotions.

Together, we’ll explore what shapes your life and what’s possible for your future. My style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I meet you where you are, helping you find balance between life’s challenges and your hope for peace, growth, and happiness.

I draw from a variety of approaches—including cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, solution-focused, EMDR, mindfulness, and creative therapies like art and narrative work—to support healing in a way that fits you.

I’m continually inspired by the strength and resilience of my clients, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward lasting change.   BOOK NOW https://northstatecounseling.clientsecure.me

Do you find yourself at a point in life where recent changes have left you running on empty, snapping more than usual, or unsure about the direction you want to go?

You’re not alone—and you don’t need to have the perfect plan to start. Therapy is a space to slow down, feel supported, and explore a fresh start on your terms.

I’ve worked in the field of mental health for 23 years, supporting children, adults, families, and individuals from diverse backgrounds as they cope with life transitions, stress, relationship conflict, trauma, instability, and more. I’m passionate about helping people develop a deeper understanding of themselves, feel empowered, and work toward meaningful goals for self-improvement and change.

Life transitions:
I specialize in helping people explore and navigate areas where change is happening—or needs to happen. This might include shifts like becoming an adult, changing careers, relationship status, parenthood, or becoming an empty nester. These seasons can feel overwhelming, but they’re also powerful opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Cultural sensitivity:
I strive to create a therapeutic environment that honors your cultural background, beliefs, and how those shape your life experience. My approach is always tailored to meet the unique needs of each person I serve.

I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can explore what’s really going on. My goal isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to help you reconnect with your strengths, values, and purpose so you can feel more grounded and in control. Together, we’ll work toward the clarity, peace, understanding, and connection you’ve been craving.

Hello! Are you on the fence about whether or not therapy is for you and your family? Are you feeling nervous, worried or overwhelmed? Is stress taking a toll on you—physically, mentally, or emotionally? Are you trying to figure out why you, your spouse or your kids are feeling so irritable, sad or withdrawn? You’re not alone—and you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. I’m here to support you without judgment, offering a space where you and your family can feel safe, understood, and ready to work toward the positive changes you want in your lives.

I have years of experience working with children, families, and individuals navigating trauma, abuse, homelessness, and other major life stressors. My approach is trauma-informed, emotion-focused, and solution-focused—aimed at helping you shift from feeling stuck in the problem to discovering real, sustainable solutions. I believe in open, collaborative communication to help you meet your goals—whether that means setting boundaries, easing anxiety, decreasing the stress levels in the home, or simply feeling more like yourselves again.

Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you and build a path toward healing, stability, and strength.
